Cheesy Fluffy Scrambled Eggs


This morning I had so much fun adding Thrive ingredients to my scrambled eggs. I took the green chilis, tomato pieces, cheddar cheese, put it all in a bowl ....and just used a spray bottle to wet the ingredients. I also wanted to add sausage crumbles so I put them in the frying pan (with water to cover) that I was going to scramble the egg mixture in to simmer for about 10 minutes because they take a bit longer than the other ingredients to rehydrate . I drained the water from the sausage. Next I added  the other refreshed ingredients to three scrambled eggs in a bowl. Then it was scrambled all together in the frying pan and wow did it come out wonderful....fluffy and cheesy!
In order to be able to get the Thrive food cheaper, I first became a preferred customer but then quickly realized I could save more and even make money by becoming a consultant. It really isn't a scary thing at all like I thought it would be. You can work at your own pace and in your own style. You don't even have to sell to others if you don't want to. You can make commissions off of your own personal sales. I first became interested in freeze dried food because I wanted high quality food storage that had a long shelf life. Food storage with a 25 year shelf life is a hedge against inflation, protection in an emergency, protection against further contamination of our foods with pesticides, herbicides, and GMOs.......AND convenient and delicious! Yummy Chicken Salad

I love chicken salad. However, it does take a lot of work to make it if you want to eat it on the spur of the moment. You have to cook the chicken and then chop it. Next you would hope you had onions and celery on hand. After chopping them up and perhaps crying a bit from the onions, you could mix it together with the mayo and then add your seasonings.


Just a few minutes ago I was hungry for something quick but nutritious. I thought of my new freeze dried food ingredients waiting to be experimented with. So I got out my cans of freeze dried chicken cubes, celery, onions, and mild chopped green chili peppers. I refreshed them each in a separate bowl so I could show you folks what they look like before and after re-hydration. However, when you are throwing all the ingredients together in a specific recipe, you can re-hydrate all the food items together. It only took 10 minutes at the most for the ingredients to re-hydrate and to mix them together and add salt and pepper. I thought it was delicious! I am posting several photos of before and after and then I will add a video from Linda's pantry ( my mentor) which demonstrates her version of the chicken salad.

THRIVE LIFE PEAS: Before and After

While ordinary dehydrated foods have their valid place in food preservation.......FREEZE dried foods are another story all together. Freeze dried foods retain almost all of their nutrients and all of their flavor due to the flash freeze dried process. Most of the food products have a shelf life of 25 years and taste just as fresh when opened 25 years later. This process takes place within hours of picking the fruits and vegetables at their peak of ripeness. There are so many benefits to freeze dried foods which I will cover in more depth in later posts. The photos below are an example of freeze dried peas before refreshing and after water is added. The peas return to their bright green color and taste like fresh green peas! YUM! You can also eat them right out of the can!
